Awareness Leads to Prevention
February is Spay and Neuter Awareness Month. And at Mount Tabor Animal Hospital, we want to draw attention to this important topic now because typically summer months are when we see lots of accidental overproduction of puppies and kittens, which can lead to an overwhelming influx of animal intakes at our local animal shelters. Spaying/neutering can actually help save animals by preventing euthanasia of unwanted pets!
